A FIVE STAR READ, with fear and exhilaration added.A very short book which makes it easier to read for not very confident readers, but with the type of expression confident readers love as well.Also at the very end it seems he is going to live forever, but he becomes something which he  feared when he first came to the the prison.

It's about a boy from an orphanage works in a prison not knowing that it's hauted and filled with ghostly ghost's.

As I creep as quietly as a mouse through the forest of things you couldn't imagine I hear a snap my blood froze,but it was just me then I heard it again.It wasn't me it was only sensible to run like a cheetah as I run I hear the most deafening bark noise it was diffidently not me.At the time the more I ran the louder the noise was,so I ran back before I knew it I was covered in Halloween stuff.They asked me if I could go trick-or-treating 
with them I was surprised as I said worriedly "ooookkkk",but it was worth it I had a great time I even saw the bouncy hair man.He was the worst devil ever.

         THE BOY WHO SWAM WITH PIRANHAS !!!!   



This is a great book; its all about a young boy named Stanley Potts. His mum and dad died in a car accident when he was young so he had to go and live with his Auntie Annie and his Uncle Urnie, his Uncle Urnie worked on a ship but one day they got rid of the ship so Urnie had to find another place to work. When one day it all changed Stanley wasn't aloud to go to school anymore and had to stay home, for Urnie had turned their house into a fish canning factory. Urnie made machines for cleaning the fish, pulling the heads off the fish and lots more. Everything was fine until a dreaded day arrived it was Stanley's birthday and he went to a fair that had just arrived in his town, he won some goldfish there but the next day urine did something terrible.... HE TINNED THE GOLDFISH AND SOLD THEM!!! Stanley was so devastated he ran away with the fair, will they ever find him, or will he already be in the depths of pearly white jaws.....?????To find out more about the  auther of this book click on the link bellow!

Football Short is a really awesome book it's about:a fictional football team called Shelby town in the Barclays Premier league.It has lots of stories including a murder mystery,there are lots of authors that are good football players.It you haven't read this book you haven't read a proper book.

Publisher: O'Brien                                                                                        Good words; not too hard!

Story line: A girl  called Grace and her four friends learn about magic. What I liked the best was the adventures, but the descriptions of the characters weren't very good. This book would be better with some illustrations and my favorite characters are Grace and Adie (her best friend). This book is highly recommended!

The day the world went Loki is a good book: that you never want to put down. It's impossible to know what will happen next and strange things always pop up when you are least expecting them too. This book is a 5 star must read.

Demon Dentist by David Walliams

                                                                                                                                                     
This book has only been out for about 2 weeks, yet it is already one of the most funny books I`ve ever read!. This book is by far the ultimate laugh out loud because it features all normal characters, but it also contains one of the most feared villains in David`s stories yet. It also has a sad side because the main character loses his only family member there for him. Also if you hate going to the dentist you will be thankful our dentist`s aren`t like the dentist in this book.

 This book is a great adventure story about a girl who goes to places you would never dream of going!. The book itself is available for a range of ages from nine-to ninety nine year olds who love reading.This book is also very sad in some places to, sometimes it makes you jump out your seat, another places throughout the story it make you stiff with shock, it even makes you burst into tears as well!. So if you love a thrilling adventure full of happiness,shock,betrayal and loss then this is the right book to read.

Lydia's book review of "The faraway tree stories"

This isn't a book project book but is a great book for imaginative minds to read. I've read this book previously before it's about some children who move to the country side.Later on in the book they find a magic tree with peculiar characters who live in the tree.

                                                                                                                 Hi my name is Sienna and here`s my review on The Day the World went Loki ,it is a very peculiar book to read I think anybody who enjoys comedy will laugh out loud.This book is also a great fantasy book because the main character finds themselves mixed up with Goblins,Fairy folk,trolls and the like!.When I read the first page I thought to myself : this is a brilliant book because the first page starts you up with the question " WHY" after five words.

Hi, I'm Lily, and I'm going to do a book review on a book called Love That Dog. I thought this book was really good, but sad in some parts too. It was very unusual, as every single page is a different poem and they all link in to make a story about a boy called Jack, and how he's writing about his old yellow dog. Jack is probably talking to a teacher in this book and he's talking about the yellow dog. The sad part is where the yellow dog was run over by the blue car splattered with mud speeding down the road when Jack and his friends were playing football on the street.

The Considine  Curse is a story about a girl called Mariel. She's from Australia.Not knowing she had cousins,her cousins  in England who are keeping a dark secret. Mariel's grandmother has died so they have to travel to  England for a funeral.All her cousins seem a bit weird then her.They all have very different personalty.
I rate this a five star.
It's a must read.

Welcome to our book project!

Hello and welcome to the Ash Class Bookworms blog! We are Ash Class - a year five class at Greenfields School in Shrewsbury. We recently did research in class to find out about new books that we'd like to read. We then voted for the ones we'd like to read the most. Now we've bought some of the books and we are going to be reading them, sharing them and reviewing them! At the end of the year, we'll vote as a class for our favourite book out of all those we've read!
